Jack Kerouac Haikus:
The bottoms of my shoes
are clean
From walking in the rain.
The cow
taking a big dreamy crap,
Turning to look at me.
Memere says: "Planets are
far apart so people
Can't bother each other."
Train tunnel, too dark
for me to write: that
"Men are ignorant"
Giving an apple
to the mule, the big lips
Taking hold.
Take up a cup of water
from the ocean
And there I am.
Praying all the time -
talking
To myself.
Window rattling
in the wind
I'm a lousy lover.
Wish I were a rooster
and leave my sperm
On the sidewalk, shining!
Kneedeep, teeth
to the blizzard,
My cat gazing at me.
are clean
From walking in the rain.
The cow
taking a big dreamy crap,
Turning to look at me.
Memere says: "Planets are
far apart so people
Can't bother each other."
